Certainly a spoiler

No shocker here. I love Charlottesville, VA. The climate, the atmosphere and geography are just awesome. Every time I visit, I ask myself what I'm doing not living there. The thing that I forget the most is how much of a running town that place is. I mean, everyone runs and there are bike lanes everywhere. Considering how lucky you are to find a bike lane in NYC, it's funny to think that the bike lane is the worst place you'll end up running in the Ville. And considering how much better shape I used to be in, it's a tough town to go back and run because you think like you're still 20 and running 75+ miles a week.

It was so great. The terrain, the climate and the fresh air are simply spectacular. But it easy to also forget that Manhattan is basically flat (even though the folks who run Harlem Hill would disagree). The Ville certainly is anything but. So two runs, one in a snow storm and one on a b-e-a-u-ti-ful 50 degree day back to back was something else.

I love that town.
